How prostitute robbed USA returnee of his gold chains, wrist watches and phones

A prostitute and an entertainer, both aged 22, who allegedly stole property valued at N1.6 million, on Wednesday appeared before an Ikeja Magistrates’ Court. The prostitute, Emmanuel Carol and Precious Aboh, who claimed to be into entertainment, are facing a five-count charge bordering on conspiracy, stealing and attempted murder. The Carol resides at the Oshodi area of Lagos, and Aboh lives at No. 15, Olaore St., Mafoluku, Oshodi, Lagos. The prosecutor, Insp. Ezekiel Ayorinde, said that the duo stole gold chains, wrist watches and phones all valued at N1.6 million from Mr Darlington Ezenwaka on Nov. 15 at about 11.30p.m. at Church St., along Oshodi road, Oshodi, Lagos. Woman kills fellow church member with car, while making call in Lagos

file photo A woman identified as Obiageli Ezeanowiyi is currently being investigated by operatives of the Lagos State Police after she reportedly rammed into her fellow church member, killing her instantly. It was learned that the accident occurred while Ezeanowiyi was driving and making a phone call at Jakande Estate junction at Oke-Afa, Isolo, close to St. Peters’ Catholic Church, where both of them worshipped. An eyewitness told Vanguard on the condition of anonymity, that Ezeanowiyi lost control of the car and killed the victim, known as Madam Chichi, who was on her way to church. 42-years-old Tyra Patterson was convicted in 1994 for being an accomplice to murder because she witnessed her friend kill another girl. Patterson has now been released and was reunited with her family on Christmas Day after celebrities joined a long-running campaign to free her. According to report, she had always maintained her innocence after being convicted in the murder and robbery of 15-year-old Michelle Lai in Cleveland, Ohio. Patterson claims police forced her into confessing to a robbery she never committed, which opened her up to an aggravated murder conviction. She did not fire the shot that killed Lai, but under Ohio law accomplices can be handed the same punishment as killers.
