US rapper Freddie Gibbs, who is charged with the sexual abuse of a
female fan in Austria, was released on bail from a Vienna prison on
Thursday, court officials said.
The 34-year-old from Gary, Indiana, left the Wien-Josefstadt jail
after paying 50,000 euros ($57,000) and surrendering his passport,
court spokeswoman Christina Salzborn said.
He has been barred from leaving the country while the case is still
open, she said.
Gibbs, whose real name is Fredrick Tipton, was extradited in late July
from France where police arrested him on a European arrest warrant
shortly before a planned gig in the southwestern city of Toulouse.
The American is accused of drugging two girls — aged 16 and 17 at the
time — after a concert in Vienna on July 6, 2015, and taking them
back to his hotel where he is said to have abused one of the women.
The Twitter employee who deactivated President Donald Trump's Twitter account has been revealed. In a new interview with TechCrunch , contractor Bahtiyar Duysak from Germany opened up on how the President's page disappeared for 11 minutes one day in November. He said "In my opinion, it was definitely a mistake and if I am involved with this, I really apologize if I hurt anyone. "I didn't do anything on purpose but as I said, I had a wild time in America and I was tired sometimes and everyone can do mistakes." I didn't hack anyone. I didn't do anything I wasn't authorized to do…I didn't do any crime." As for why Bahtiyar decided to come forward today, he claims that he simply wants the media to back off from investigating who is responsible. "I just want to continue an ordinary life," "I had to delete hundreds of friends because reporters are stalking me. I just want to continue an ordinary life." http://if...
